The Winter Exhibition shows how animals survive through this long, harsh season. The exhibition explains such things as hibernation; the benefit to titmice of being in a flock; the differences in muskrats' winter nests; the nutritional importance of rowanberries to several bird species; the changes in the metabolism of carp as well as many other things related to the ability of animals to adapt to winter.
