O.A.F. Lönnbohm's Siberian Material

O.A.F. Lönnbohm (1856–1927), founder of the Kuopio Naturalists' Society and keeper of the Botanical Museum, was an outstanding botanist who made several plant collecting excursions abroad. In the summer of 1902 he brought thousands of specimens from Siberia back to Finland and placed them in the collections of the Kuopio Natural History Museum, including three fungus species new to science. His three-man expedition also collected animal specimens, minerals, fossils, and photographs from the Volga, Ob, and Baikal areas.
